Bright in Your Own Backyard is issuing this Request for Qualifications (RFQ) to identify professionals prepared to work on ADU and JADU projects in San Mateo County over the next 24 months. The purpose of this RFQ is to help us get to know you or your company better, which will help us match you with homeowners who have engaged Hello Housing for feasibility and project management support. The more we know about your typical scope of work, your process, your capacity and your pricing, the better we will be at identifying potential projects for your consideration. We currently have pipeline of approximately 70 ADU and JADU projects and counting.
One of the most common requests from homeowners is assistance with identifying and vetting their professional team. Please note that Hello Housing does not accept referral fees for connecting professionals to homeowners. Rather, our role is to serve as an objective resource for homeowners and to help them ask the right questions to inform their decisions. The contract for services is ultimately between each homeowner and their chosen professional team. Once a homeowner engages their professionals, we are available to help ensure the relationships are successful and productive. While this RFQ is specific to our pipeline of projects in San Mateo County, we will be working with a number of homeowners in Santa Clara County in the coming months.
Please download and fill out the appropriate RFQ fillable form (when opened with Adobe Acrobat) and submit your responses as described in the RFQ. Should you have any questions about this RFQ, please contact us and we will get back to you shortly!
If you are professional working on ADU and JADU projects such as a surveyor, geo-technical services firm, landscape designer etc., please Join our Registry so we can connect you to homeowners in our pipeline.
